This seminar will evaluate some pervasive questions and debates in the study of human development. For each question we'll review & evaluate high-impact research, drawing from work in developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, psycholinguistics, education, psychiatry, & primatology. We'll also touch on social and historical forces that have shaped the study of human development.
